Wynt AI hiring workflow — hero screen

The problem

Recruiters were spending hours manually sorting candidates with no consistency across hiring managers. The goal: speed up decisions without replacing human judgment.

How I approached it

  1. 1

Competitive analysis of Greenhouse, Workable, and SmartRecruiters — benchmarking candidate workflows and dashboard layouts.

  2. 2

Sketched core flows by hand → translated to low-fidelity wireframes mapping user flows and screen hierarchy.

  3. 3

Ran usability testing → discovered recruiters distrusted opaque AI recommendations.

  4. 4

Designed a review loop: shortlist → validate → adjust → final decision.

Feature gap detected

Feature gap detected

Testing revealed a critical gap: AI recommendations felt like a black box. I designed AI Snippets — short voice clips from interviews, tagged by factors like ‘teamwork’ and ‘problem-solving.’ Recruiters could replay rationale, adjust weightings, and collaborate with confidence.

What I learned

AI UX is workflow design + trust design — not just a smart feature.
